Testing Aerostat Observations for Oil Spill Response in Ice

Scope of Work:

Inland-Gulf Maritime LLC is preparing to deploy its Aerostat-IC aerial imagery system on board an oil spill recovery vessel to demonstrate its ability to coordinate and support an oil spill recovery task force.

By testing and proving the Aerostat-IC system's ability to detect hydrocarbons and operation capabilities in extreme weather environments will serve OSRI and the Oil industry greatly in dealing with oil spills response in the Arctic and Sub-Arctic marine environment.

During this Phase-One, IGM will modify, prepare and test the Aerostat-IC aerial surveillance system in order to have it ready for extreme weather operations as well as prepare it to support the USCG oil and ice exercise. During phase two we will deploy the unit during the USCG tests the week of February 18thin St. Ignace, Michigan.
